What is the thinnest flex circuit GCA Flex can manufacture?
Single-sided adhesiveless constructions can achieve total thicknesses in the range of 0.05mm to 0.10mm depending on copper weight and coverlay specification. Contact us with your thickness budget and electrical requirements and we will recommend the right stack-up.
Can you manufacture flex circuits for foldable device hinges?
Yes. Foldable device hinges require dynamic flex constructions rated for very high cycle counts at tight bend radii. We review your required bend radius, cycle life target, and conductor requirements at the DFM stage and specify a construction that meets your durability spec.
Do you offer ENIG finish for consumer electronics applications?
Yes. Electroless Nickel Immersion Gold (ENIG) is available and is the most common surface finish for consumer electronics flex circuits requiring solderability and wire bondability. Immersion tin and OSP are also available depending on your assembly process.
